If you follow me on social media, you’ll know that I had a splurge the other week with some vouchers and cash I got for my birthday (see my Things You’ll Know if You’re a Shopaholic post for a more in depth look into that). But in the interest of saving the planet and the most out of my money, I thought I’d share some of the bits I picked up and a couple of variations to make the most out of what I purchased. So without further ado, here is a selection of the outfits I put together and where you can find them;
I’m planning on wearing this either alone or with a black/white tee underneath (although I feel the black will make me feel like a bee and show through) – versatility is key.
Yellow Gingham Dress H&M £14.99 (I couldn’t find the link to this, but I found a black and white one here).
I’m obsessed with this T-shirt and know it’ll be pulled out for what I’ve donned #FrenchFriday (where you wear a T-shirt with something French on it) with various outfits and the jeans with all kinds of summer tops. The possibilities are endless.
Grey & Yellow Tres Chic slogan tee H&M – £8.99
White Embroidered Jamie Jeans Topshop – (SALE) £10 – I couldn’t find these particular ones, but the white ripped ones are linked here.
I love the black frill on this top and know it’s going to remain a staple in my wardrobe for years to come. The dungaree dress looks great like this, but when I actually wore it out I looked pretty frumpy (gutted). I’m going to see how I get on with it and might return it for something else, but haven’t decided yet.
Black frilled top Dorothy Perkins – £14 (£9.80 in the sale)
Denim Dungaree Dress River Island – (SALE) £30
I am in love with this outfit and actually rocked this for lunch with Grandad the other day (with some obligatory white Converse of course). The white linen top is super cooling and not too clingy, the skirt is also really flowy and comfortable for any extra food you eat – the pattern doesn’t really show the food baby 😉
Navy Polka Dot Maxi Skirt – £26
This top is bloody gorgeous and versatile enough to dress up or down – just what you need from any new wardrobe staples. I quite like how this looks with the dungaree dress – it gives it a more casj look.
White spot top River Island – £26 (£15 in the sale)
This jumpsuit is probably my favourite purchase from my splurge – it’s figure hugging in the right places and will look great with a T-shirt underneath when it’s a little chillier or a big chunky cardigan. The belt is real leather so will last and age well (it also won’t crack and peel off which is a bonus!)
Black polka dot jumpsuit Topshop – £39
Have you had any recent splurges and what’s your go-to outfit for this spring/summer?

Ever since you mentioned on one of your social media platforms that you’d had a shopping splurge, I was hoping you’d do a haul type post yay! I love SO many things in this, especially the denim pinafore and the spotty jumpsuit, they’re right up my street. The jumpsuit compliments your figure so well, I’m loving it! I really want some midi skirts like the navy blue polka dot one as I think that type of style is so pretty and perfect for Summer. I haven’t had a good splurge in ages but I did buy a khaki green button up midi dress and a pink floral wrap top from Primark a couple of weeks ago, both of which I’ve been loving so much.

Oooh have you worn it in any of your pictures lately?! I love me some khaki and that sounds gorge! And lol, when I was putting it together I thought you’d enjoy this one 😉😂❤️❤️
I LOVE THE JUMPSUIT AND THE SKIRT. They are so damn cute!! I ordered myself a new belt recently as I’ve started having to make new holes in all of mine hahaha and it arrived and it was also too big so I’m waiting for it to return in a smaller size now, I love a good cute belt to go with outfits though it really spruces them up! Dungaree dresses/pinafores are definitely a huge guilty pleasure of mine, they’re so versatile and you can wear so many different things under them when they’re plain as well! Perfect for all seasons, too 🙂 Love this haul Gaby!!

Ahhh thanks lovely, I was bloody obsessed when I found them both (as I was with everything in this haul haha!) maybe I’ve been subconsciously taking in the dungaree/pinafore love from your posts as now I’m thinking about it, I’ve seen them all over your blog/Insta 😂❤️❤️❤️
