If you’re up to date with my latest posts, you’ll remember I wrote about my £50 Primark Challenge last week and that I would be sharing some outfit posts of what I managed to pick up!
It was also a good chance to talk about each piece, my thoughts on how they look on and how they wear. I’ve also been inspired by a recent video Samantha Maria posted where she looks back on pieces she’s picked up in a haul and whether she wasted her money – we’ve got a lot of content to look back on, so keep your eyes peeled for some posts along these lines and to check out her video here;
Denim Bardot Dress
This dress has major hanger appeal – I envisaged wearing this slightly on my shoulders so it was work appropriate and having it slightly more fitted. However, I needed to nip it in at the waist with a belt and ended up wearing it off one shoulder slightly as it just looked a bit weird as a standard bardot dress. The embroidery is lovely, the colour is gorgeous, the fabric is pretty decent for Primark and IT HAS POCKETS! I’ll wear this again, but think I want to get a tan brown belt to go with it.
Mustard Yellow Striped Cami
I bloody loved this cami, the colour is gorgeous and was perfect with my vintage Levi cut off shorts – at £2.50 you can’t really go wrong and this will definitely end up paying for itself.
White, black, pink and blue striped skirt
I didn’t realise until I shared this snap on Instagram that this is THE skirt to have from Primark and was quite pleased that it wasn’t an influenced purchase! It’s a lovely skirt, but my arse is slightly too big for the size 8 that I picked up which led to the buttons gaping slightly (gutted). It’s a very lightweight cotton so you definitely need some nude coloured thongs (I say thongs as you’ll 1000% get knicker line – but go for a standard knicker if that’s your jam). You also need to be quite careful with the buttons and getting out of the car – I stretched the bottom button hole and tore the fabric slightly.
Great for the ‘gram, but not massively practical, size up if you can’t try it on.
Black Slouchy Vest
I know the stand out piece of this outfit is the trouser/skirt combo (they’re like a trouser length skort? I tried to find a link to them but couldn’t find them on the website as I picked them up in the sale they had in store) but this black slouchy vest is the perfect staple for the summer, it’s lightweight, versatile and cooling for the unusual hot weather we’re having in the UK at the moment.
White stretch vest
I picked this up as a girl can never have too many white vest tops to wear in the summer (and under shirts when it gets chilly in the winter!) – a standard white vest that I paired with some tan coloured Jamie jeans from Topshop (not pictured) and this beautifully embroidered cotton cardigan from the New Look sale.
Love Island “Lay it on Factor 50 Thick” slogan tee
I’m not going to lie, I hate this picture of me, but I’d rather share an honest photo of what I actually look like than lie to you all and make out I look fabulous all the time. This is just a standard slogan that I got in a size large for those days when I don’t fancy leaving the flat, also for those of you that are big Love Island fans. Not much more to say on this one…
And there we have it! Just a few outfits that I’ve styled my latest Primark buys into. A little bit disappointed with the more trend led pieces, but I know I’ll get some wear out of everything!

Great collection. .. lovely styles and fashion trends. .. thank you for sharing
Thank you lovely! ❤️
You say you hate that last photo of you but it’s honestly one of my favourite photos of you! You look so cute and a little goofy and it’s natural and adorable hehe. The mustard striped top looks real lovely with your skin tone and hair, mustards always something I’ve been dying to pull off but it just doesn’t fit! And it’s a huge shame the striped skirt is a tad too small but you’re still rocking it. I’d love to see posts about whether hauls have been a waste or not, I’d definitely have A LOT of items that did end up just sitting in my wardrobe unused…

Ahh thanks lovely, strange how everyone can see pictures differently – everything looks different to the eye of the beholder! And I bloody love mustard everything – I’ve got some gradual tan moisturiser that I’m using at the moment so I can get away with it for longer – the Bali tan has long gone 😂 still gutted about the skirt, but it’s not a lot of money lost so I’ll be alright! ❤️❤️❤️
