I’ve made a couple of additions to my A/W wardrobe this year and thought it would be fun to share some of those purchases with you today – because everyone loves a bargain and I apparently can’t keep to my strict (well not really) budget to save for this wedding and fantasy house we’re always dreaming about – god I wish I had a garden.
Anyway, first up has got to be the bargain of 2017 which I covered in a recent post; my Michael Kors bag from TK Maxx (make sure to check it out here);
Next up is my tartan scarf from Dorothy Perkins that my (extremely patriotic Scotsman) Dad is in love with;
My red blouse from Boohoo which is perfect for work – I also just wanted to buy something red because I’m a fashion blogger and a sucker for on trend colours;
My black tie waist tapered trousers from Boohoo’s Petite range, please excuse the stray blonde hair in this shot – I’m aware but don’t care (make sure to check out my favourite stores for Petite Fashion if you haven’t already here);
My powder blue oversized shirt from the Topshop sale (£10 people, what a bloody bargain!). So that I’m not completely drowned, I styled it by knotting the front or a cinching in my waist with a skinny waist belt.
My black floral tea dress from Boohoo Petite (again) which I picked up for my niece’s Christening – I’m loving tea dresses this year and have found the Petite range ones are very flattering for my littleness – I also felt super sassy rocking this little number!
In order to balance things out, I decided to swap the above items into my wardrobe for some old pieces which I haven’t worn or won’t be wearing again because we need to have some room for all of these new pieces! I’m not going to be adding anything else (well on purpose anyway) until Christmas time when the Boxing Day sales give me a reason to do so – this girl has no control over spending during the Boxing Day sales!
I hope you enjoyed this post – all items have been linked if you’d like to pick up the same thing (please note: I’ve used affiliate links for some of these items and may earn a commission on something you purchase. This doesn’t cost you anything more, but adds some pennies in my pocket!)
