[…] chance again after some run ins with them last year (check out one of my most recent posts about Giving Boohoo Another Chance) but have found some great pieces in their range which are available […]

If you’ve been a follower of my blog from the beginning, you’ll know that I had a bit of a disaster with them last year and swore off ever shopping with them again.
I had issues with things arriving and not matching the colour shown on the website, there was also an issue with Hermes not delivering my parcels and just returning them back to Boohoo without leaving a delivery note 🙄.
However, whilst mooching on Facebook another ad came up on my newsfeed for some of their knitwear and I decided to have a look – I knew I could never swear off them forever and that I would be back again some day 😉.
I found 4 items in the sale that I wanted, but unfortunately the app kept on crashing and I missed out on getting a £5 deep red cable knit jumper that I was really excited about for Autumn/Winter, so I ended up with just 3 items.
Pink Fitted Mid Sleeve Dress
Red High Neck Bodycon Dress
Black Cable Knit Jumper
I decided to go for next day delivery which was an extra pound and I thought it was better to order over the weekend because I knew I would be home, should Hermes decide to be a nightmare as per.
What arrived?
Black cable knit jumper
I fell in love with this one as soon as it arrived – it’s perfect for this weird weather we’ve got during our transition to Autumn as it’s not too thin making me cold, but not too thick making me feel hot in the humidity! The price was great at just £8 which seemed like a steal to me!
Red High Neck Bodycon Dress
The fabric of this was quite thin, but again perfect for the transition to autumn. I could rock it if I added some layers in the winter too which was a plus. The only downside was that I wore it to work and the office was quite humid, meaning sweat patches galore! Not a fault of the dress, just the colour showed it up a lot when I got home! However, at £5 I couldn’t grumble!
Pink Fitted Mid Sleeve Dress
I liked this dress a lot and thought it was perfect for my niece’s christening which is coming up next month. It’s more of a Spring/Summer colour, but at £5 I couldn’t miss out! It was pretty tight to get on and looks more pinky in real life, but I’m pretty happy with how it photographs! Excuse the scars on my legs – remnants of my battle with Hepatitis E 🙄
Verdict
I’ll definitely shop there again, but will try to order so my items come at the weekend. I think you get what you pay for, but you can definitely find some great cheap basics. I’d also recommend having a mooch at their sale, which is where I found all items featured today! Let me know your thoughts on Boohoo in the comments and if you’re a fan or not!
