That is a lovely shade
Hey guys! I’m back with a gel polish review today and thought I’d see if anyone else had tried this one step gel polish as I’m not sure whether I’ve been doing something wrong!
I love gel nails – they last a lot longer than normal polish and don’t smudge once they’re cured. The only thing I don’t like is having to use a base coat, couple of coats of colour and a top coat – so I wanted to test out some 3 in 1 gel polishes to save my precious Netflix binging time.
However, for some weird reason, I got little indents in the gel and I don’t know why! 😩
Excuse my dirty looking cuticles, I hadn’t tidied them up before taking the photo!
A couple of them were fine, but if you look at my thumb and middle finger, there are weird indents which continued to reappear after I’d smoothed them out with the brush!
Anyway, I’ll continue the review on other elements to let you know what I think!
I love the colour and am a massive fan of the pinky hue on my nails for day to day life. It’s very rich and is right up my street.
There isn’t a lot of shine which is disappointing as the colour is gorgeous, it just looks a little bit dull and … meh.
Right, I started this post just after I applied the polish and headed out to do some errands. I was sat in the car outside the fishing tackle shop 🙄 waiting for Aaron to buy all things fishing, when I started to notice that the gel was lifting. I literally peeled them all off in an easy swipe and had a pile of gel in the drinks holder within a couple of minutes. Not impressed as it had only been on for no less than an hour.
I’m going to do some more research to see if I’m doing something wrong before going all in and saying this gel is a pile of wank – but on first impressions, it is indeed a pile of wank.
Let me know whether you’ve tried this gel polish before and about your experiences with it. I’d also like to try out some other ones so let me know your recommendations in the comments!
Until next time…
