Another foundation find

With our wedding next year, I want to find the perfect foundation that gives me  perfect looking skin and lasts all day.

I’ve already written about a couple of other foundations I’ve tried before and want to continue documenting my mission to find the best of the best!

Up for review today is the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation. Another pricey buy at £29 for 30ml, I was willing this one be as amazing as the countless online reviews say it was!

As a reminder, this is the base that I’m working with, my chin is the problem area so this is always an area I focus on when trying out a new foundation.

On first application, this is really pretty! A bit lighter in colour than my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk that I just finished off, but with a bit of bronzer you wouldn’t know.

Definitely a medium, buildable coverage. I applied 2 pumps to my entire face and topped up my chin with another pump to give me a full coverage on my problem area.

I’ve had a random red patch of skin right on my jawline which has been doing my absolute tree in. I’m so happy that this managed to cover it (which my last foundation didn’t) and blend so well with the rest of my face!

It lasts quite well, but I’m starting to think I need to invest in one of these make up setting sprays that everyone on the internet is banging on about! (Leave me some recommendations in the comments please!)

Overall, I think this has knocked off Giorgio Armani from the top spot and looks amazing (if it can cover that bastard red patch on my face – it must be a winner).

Let me know about any new foundations you’d recommend me trying in the comments and check out some of my old posts on finding the perfect foundation!

Until next time…
