I’ve got combination skin that’s prone to a few hormonal spots each month. When I was a teenager I had terrible skin (not bad enough to call acne, but definitely not a nice experience) which I thought would go when I got into my twenties. Whoever said that spots will clear when you’re an adult was a LIAR!
Anyway, my skin’s quite scarred from the many spots I’ve popped over the years and I’ve been searching for something magical to give me the skin of a Disney princess. Below is a photo I took of my skin au natural so we have something to compare later on;
My chin is my problem area and always has been.
Anyway, I was on the Cosmo Facebook page reading about this anti-blemish cream that helped with spots and scarring.
I’m always sceptical about stuff like this so went online to read and watch some reviews. It seems to be good stuff and I decided to take the plunge and go for it. I got the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Anti-Blemish System on offer in Boots for £20;
I was originally going to just buy the Duo cream for £15.50 but thought for an extra £4.50 I’d try out the whole set. You get the cleanser, toner and cream that you’re supposed to use twice a day for 6 weeks.
I’m excited to see how this works and will do a follow up post after the 6 weeks are up.
Let me know if you’ve tried it before and how it’s worked for you! Also if there are any other skin care products for combination skin prone to spots, let me know!
Until next time …
